The Marquette County Health Department has announced a new procedure for signing people up to get the COVIS-19 vaccine. Starting Monday, people aged 65 and over can pre-register to get vaccinated.
That means your name goes on a list for an appointment, and when they find out from the state how many doses they will receive every week, they will schedule an appointment. The department says it has increased its phone capacity, and lines are open Monday-to-Friday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
The on-line portal to get on that list officially opens Monday morning at 10:00 at mqt health dot org.
