War Memorial Hospital and Sugar Island EMS are planning a community vaccination clinic on Sugar Island. The COVID-19 vaccination clinic will take place on Friday, February 26th at the Sugar Island Town Hall. Individuals must be 65 or older and residents of Chippewa County to qualify. The vaccines will be provided by appointment only. Those interested should contact WMH Emergency Manager, Austin Conway at 906-253-1003 to schedule an appointment.
A duplicate event will take place on Friday, March 26th to provide attendees with the second dose in the series.
For those unable to attend the event, future appointments for those aged 65 and older may be scheduled via the Chippewa County Health department website: www.chippewahd.com. CCHD is providing vaccinations by appointment only.
