The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services announced Wednesday that there were NO new deaths across the state due to the coronavirus.
The state did report a significant increase in cases, however, with 3,164 new positive tests being reported.
The Upper Peninsula reported 31 new cases on Wednesday.

The state also is reporting that more than 7,000 people have recovered in the past week. That is defined as being alive at least 30 days after the diagnosis or onset of symptoms. Michigan now has 556,697 total recovered cases. This number is updated once a week, on Saturdays.
