The Marinette City Police Department is reporting a fatal house fire in the city.
The fire happened on Saturday at 1215 Main Street. When crews got there, the building was fully engulfed in flames. The building was evacuated but they found one person dead inside. The person’s identity is not being made public until family are notified. The cause of the fire is being investigated. The Wisconsin Department of Justice Fire Marshall’s office will assist in the investigation.
