Escanaba City Council Nominating Petitions Due July 20

The Escanaba City Clerk says that nominating petitions for this November’s city council elections are due on July 20, which is 15 weeks before election day per state law. There are three seats expiring this November: seats held by Peggy O’Connell, Marc Tall, and Ralph Blaisier. Petitions can be picked up at the city clerk’s office. Election Day is November 2nd for those three, four-year terms.
