The 21st Annual Ore to Shore is on track for August 14, 2021, and we’re looking forward to welcoming racers back to Marquette, Michigan. Obviously, as the COVID situation continues to evolve it may impact our ability to host the event in the traditional fashion. Some aspects — packet pickup, aid stations, awards, etc. may require adjustments to comply with whatever restrictions are in place at the time. Our goal is to deliver the quality event you expect while ensuring the event is safe for everyone — racers, volunteers, and our community.
We are implementing a tiered registration process for this year to allow us to manage racers & events in context with ever-changing limitations. Here are the details:
2021 O2S EVENT REGISTRATION
- Deferred Registration from 2020 (all distances)
Everyone that was deferred last year has been moved into the 2021 race in the same event that you registered for last year. You will have from April 1 to April 30, 2021 to confirm your registration, change race distance etc. - New Registrations for 2021
We will open registration to the public on May 1st, 2021 at Noon EST. There will be a limited number of spots available in each race/distance based on the current restrictions. If the guidelines from the state allow us to increase attendance, we will do so and rates will be frozen at whatever level we’re at that time.
- 48-mile Hard Rock will be capped at 1,000 TOTAL riders (approx 450 spots are available)
Registrants up to 599 will be $60
600-699 will be $70
700-799 will be $80
800-899 will be $90
900-1,000 will be $100
- 28-mile Soft Rock will be capped at 1,000 TOTAL riders (approx 350 spots are available)
Registrants up to 699 will be $70
700-799 will be $80
800-899 will be $90
900-1,000 will be $100
- 10-mile Shore Rock will be capped at 250 TOTAL riders (approx 185 spots are available)
ALL 10-mile registrations will be $50
- 4-mile, 1-mile & 50-yard Youth Events will be capped at 500 TOTAL riders
