A water main break has developed near 1027 North Lincoln Road.
This is near the U.P. State Fairgrounds.
Water service will need to be shut off in the area and lane will be closed. Please allow crews time to work on the main break and allow some delays; it is unknown at this time how long it will take to fix. Crews will flush the line once it is repaired, so please allow 5- 10 minutes after the work is completed. If the water appears to be discolored on 4/21/2021, please contact the Water Department. Unfortunately, the water main break that developed near 1027 North Lincoln Road will not be able to be fixed tonight. Crews will turn water service on for the night but will need to shut it back off at 7:30 a.m. tomorrow morning to continue the necessary repairs. Residents in the area might notice discolored water this evening, but it is safe to drink.
The lane surrounding the break will remain closed until the break is completely fixed, so travelers should expect some delays. Crews will flush the line once it is fully repaired. If the water appears to be discolored on 4/22/2021, please contact the Water Department.
