The water main break near 1027 North Lincoln Road has been repaired and water has been restored to all customers.
NOTICE: Residents living in the area between 9th Avenue North to 15th Avenue North and Washington Avenue to North 23rd Street might notice discolored water this evening. It is advised that these same residents boil water per these instructions: bring tap water to a solid boil, once the water is steadily boiling, continue to boil for one full minute, allow to cool and store in a container.
Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking until further notice.
The outside south bound lane of US-2 (Lincoln Road) near the water main break will remain closed until all repairs are completed, so travelers should expect some delays. If the water appears to be discolored on 4/22/2021, please contact the Water Department.
