There was quite a lot of police activity at the Escanaba Wal-Mart store Tuesday night after someone called Public Safety to say that a man with a rifle was entering the store. That led to a flood of social media posts about an “active shooter” in the store. Public Safety says it was a misunderstanding. Read below.
