A Color Run is scheduled on Saturday, May 22nd, 2021 at Bethany Lutheran Church.
The event, titled “Color Your Faith 5k,” will begin at 9:00am and feature a number of “color stations” in which racers will be sprayed with colorful powdered dye. By the end of the race, runners can expect to be covered in a rainbow of colors and smiles. It’s sure to be a fun and exciting event.
The race begins and ends at Bethany Church. The course will run through Escanaba side streets and around Ludington Park. Water and color stations will be staggered throughout the run, and volunteers will be handing out water or spraying powder as you go past. Sunglasses are helpful for keeping powder out of your eyes! But don’t worry, the powder is non-toxic and washes off in water.
Once all racers have completed the run, participants are welcome to gather for one final color toss outside of Bethany Church. Registration is open now, and forms can be found on Bethany’s Facebook page, on our website at www.bethanyescanaba.com, or pick up a copy at Bethany church. All registrants will also receive an event T-shirt and a color packet. Turn in your registration by May 17th to guarantee your T-shirt for race day! All proceeds from this event will benefit Tri-County Safe Harbor. We hope to see you there!
