The Escanaba Area Public Schools are improving their manfacuturing lab for junior and high school students.
The upgrade is being paid for by a $167,000 grant from the Upper Peninsula Manufacturing Talent Consortium. The money is being used to make improvements to the old woodshop equipment. It will include new 3-D printers, CNC mills, and industrial robots. Junior and high school students will both benefit.
