The Marquette County Health Department said on Tuesday that the COVID-19 “Delta Variant” has been conifrmed in the county. This is the variant of the virus that was first spotted in India. It is considered to be more contagious than other versions of the coronavirus, although experts say it is not more deadly and the current vaccines are effective against it.
