On 7/11/2021 at approximately 3:29 A.M. Officers with Gladstone Public Safety were dispatched to State Highway M35 near North Bluff Drive for a report of a male subject that was down on the side of the road.
Officers responded to the scene and located the male subject. The subject was deceased at the time of discovery. Officers were able to identify the subject as 22 year old Mccoy Green from Gladstone.
Officers quickly determined that Green was struck by a vehicle as he was walking down the side of the road. Officers were able to develop a suspect through the course of their investigation. On the morning of 7/11/2021 Officers placed
31 year old Melissa Narkooli from Perkins under arrest. Narkooli was lodged at the Delta County Jail on one count of Operating While Intoxicated – Causing Death.
This case remains under investigation and no further details will be released at this time.
