The Gladstone Public Safety Department says that its annual Candy Cane and canned food drive was a success on Sunday evening.
The department says people donated 39-hundred-20 pounds of non-perishable food, as well as 781 dollars cash. This will be given to the St, Vincent dePaul Society in Gladstone.
The drive was conducted by public safety officers, as well as the Gladstone and Escanaba Township Volunteer Firefighters.
