Vickie Micheau, Executive Director of the Delta County Chamber of Commerce and Management Agent for the Upper Peninsula State Fair, was elected to serve a second three-year term on the Board of Directors for the Michigan Association of Fairs and Exhibitions during the organization’s 137th Annual Convention in Grand Rapids.
“I’m proud to continue to serve on a board with members who are dedicated to sharing their time and expertise to continuously improve fairs and festivals in the great State of Michigan,” said Micheau.
Micheau fills a three-year term for the MAFE director-at-large position on the 11-member board with representatives from across the State, and will serve as the Association’s treasurer.
The Michigan Association of Fairs and Exhibitions promotes the development of agriculture and related industries, coordinates the objectives of fairs and exhibitions across the state, informs and educates its members through meetings and an annual convention and encourages participation of youth in these endeavors.
