West End Suicide Prevention is excited to announce three winter events that will support suicide prevention and the LIVE Campaign, a positive mental health campaign encouraging self-care and compassion in our communities.
The 2022 LIVE Snowman Building Contest is now accepting entries until March 11th. Entries are open to people of all ages across the Upper Peninsula of Michigan with one lucky person winning a $100 Visa Gift Card. The 2022 LIVE Snowman Contest is intended to bring people outside to enjoy physical activities during the cold winter months, as well as bring awareness to the LIVE campaign. Studies have shown that both being outdoors and taking part in physical activities helps to improve your mental health. The snowmen will be voted on both via Facebook and at the Beating the Winter Blues Health Fair that will take place on March 20th. Find the official rules at www.glrc.org/snowmancontest
