UPDATE: The name of the man who died in a Thursday morning traffic crash in Marquette County was released on Friday. He is 52-year-old Daniel Albert Charlebois of Skandia Township.

There’s been a fatal traffic crash in Marquette County.
The Sheriff’s Department says the vehicle was found in the ditch along County Road 550 in Powell Township, north of Marquette, at about 6:30 Thursday morning. Deputies say a 52-year-old Skandia man was found dead inside the car. They believe the accident happened earlier in the morning, perhaps at about 5 a.m. The investigation continues. The name of the deceased is being withheld until family members are notified.
