Wiener Wednesday is Back! 🌭☀️

The wait is over—Wiener Wednesday officially kicked off the 2026 season today at Rennes Health & Rehab–Peshtigo West, and what a way to start!

Mother Nature delivered a picture-perfect day, the music was flowing, and the crowd showed up hungry. In fact, they showed up so hungry that we ran out of hot dogs… twice!

By the time the grills cooled down, we’re estimating that well over 200 hot dogs had been served. That’s a pretty incredible way to launch another season of community, conversation, and great food.

As always, the team at Rennes went above and beyond, making sure everyone had plenty of drinks, soda, chips, and water to complete the perfect Wiener Wednesday meal. It’s that extra touch of hospitality that makes these events so special.

A huge thank you goes out to:

Maddie, who kept the grill hot and the hot dogs coming.
Eric, who kept the energy high as our master of ceremonies.
Wisco Meat, for providing the delicious wieners that had everyone coming back for seconds (and thirds!).

Seeing so many familiar faces—and plenty of new ones—reminded us just how much this community enjoys gathering together. Judging by the empty hot dog trays, it looks like everyone missed Wiener Wednesday as much as we missed them!

We’re already looking forward to next week’s stop. Join us as the Wiener Wednesday tour rolls on to New Care Inc. in Crivitz. If today’s turnout was any indication, you might want to get there early—we hear those hot dogs are going fast this year!
