A man has been arraigned on his charges after he was arrested on September 7, 2026, for damaging a Michigan State Police (MSP) patrol vehicle with a hammer while aboard the Sugar Island Ferry and resisting arrest.
On September 8, 2026, 32-year-old Karsten Myerscough was arraigned in the 91st District Court on one count of MDOP Police Property and one count of Resisting and Obstructing a Police Officer Causing Injury.
Bond was set at $50,000 cash/surety, with tether and other standard conditions. His next court date is September 21, 2026. The subject is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
