During the month of March, MarquetteNow is hosting Marquette County Madness: a celebration and friendly competition between the best menu items available at locally owned businesses.
From March 1-7, community members can nominate their favorite food or drink to be included in a 64-item tournament bracket, seeded based on how many nominations they receive. Following the nomination round, voting will begin for different matchups in each round until the final team remaining is crowned the Best Menu Item in Marquette County. Here is the schedule of voting:
- Seeding Round: March 1-7
- Round of 64: March 8-11
- Round of 32: March 12-15
- Sweet 16: March 16-19
- Elite Eight: March 20-23
- Final Four: March 24-26
- Championship: March 26-30
- Champion Announced: March 31
Voting takes place on our website (https://www.marquette-now.com/marquette-county-madness). Participants can vote for their favorite menu items an unlimited amount of times. During the month, Marquette County Madness updates will be posted on the MarquetteNow facebook and instagram pages.
