The Marquette County Health Department says the number of coronavirus cases has dramatically increased in the past week, nearly tripling from the previous week. The department links about a third of the new positive test results to sporting events, church events. The department says that the increase shows that people need to get vaccinated as soon as possible. They will be sending out E-Mails to people that are eligible for the vaccine, and that E-Mail will include a unique link that you follow to select an appointment time. The appointments will be available on Thursday and Saturday of this week.
