Public Health, Delta & Menominee Counties (PHDM) will be holding Back to School COVID-19 vaccination clinics in both Escanaba and Menominee.
The Pfizer vaccine will be administered to children age 12 and older.
The Menominee vaccination clinic will be held on August 2nd from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. CDT at the PHDM office, located at 909 10th Avenue. Vaccinations will be available in the Escanaba office, located at 2920 College Avenue, on August 6th from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. EDT. The Pfizer vaccine is a two-dose series, and appointments will be made for the child’s second shot during the vaccine clinics.
Benefits of COVID-19 vaccination include:
- Quarantine not required
- Mask-free in certain situations
- Less likely to miss school and other events due to illness
- Less likely to spread COVID-19 to others
- Resume activities done prior to the pandemic
