Due to the recent increase in the COVID-19 positivity rate in Delta County, OSF HealthCare St. Francis Hospital & Medical Group is implementing visitor restrictions effective immediately.
These restrictions have been put in place to maximize the safety of all who enter the hospital or facilities and therefore once again include limiting the number of people accompanying patients to appointments and procedures or visiting them in the hospital.
Anyone who is comfortable attending an appointment without a support person is encouraged to do so to help limit traffic throughout the facility. Those who need to accompany a patient must be healthy, pass a COVID-19 screening, able to wear a mask regardless of vaccination status and be over the age of 18. For those who need or are a designated support person, please contact the department where the patient has an appointment or is hospitalized for more information at (906) 786-3311.
For patients with suspected or confirmed COVID-19, in-person support is not permitted with some exceptions based on essential situations. Primary communication will be through digital means.
