Gwinn area middle and high schools going to virtual learning starting Thursday.
Superintendent Brandon Bruce says there’s been a high number of absences, and high positive COVID-19 rates. Gilbert and Sawyer Elementary schools will be operating as normal.
The high school and middle school closures will go for ten days. Teachers will still be able to work in their classrooms. Sports will continue, but athletes will be tested for COVID the way they were back in the spring. The Manistique Schools made the same decision late last week.
