The Escanaba High School was placed on “external lockdown” Friday morning after someone phoned in a threat to the school office.
Escanaba Public Safety says the call came in just after 9 Friday morning. Later, they arrested a 31-year-old Escanaba man and took him to the Delta County Jail. The man is being held on 250-thousand dollar bond. His name has not been released. After police investigated, things returned to normal in the school without further incident.
