The Marquette County Health Department is urging people in certain categories to get a third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. This following recent federal approval of “booster shots” for people aged 65 and over, as well as others with underlying medical conditions. There will be a community vaccination clinic held this Saturday, offering the Moderna vaccine, at the Northern Michigan University “Northern Center”. Another will be offered there on Tuesday, November 3rd. Make appointments at mqthealth.org.
