To help answer questions about the COVID-19 vaccine for children aged 5 to 11, the State of Michigan is hosting the next in a series of virtual town halls for parents and families on Thursday, November 18 at 12 p.m. featuring pediatricians and family physicians to answer frequently asked questions and questions from viewers. The event will be live streamed at Facebook.com/MichiganHHS.
This builds upon virtual conversations that have been held this year with parents and families, younger adults, faith-based leaders, communities of color, older adults, first ladies in the faith community, local government, and Spanish and Arabic communities, about the safety, efficacy and importance of the COVID-19 vaccines. Michigan will continue to host additional town halls in partnership with public health and community leaders.

WHO: The event will be moderated by Dr. Alexis Travis, State Health Officer with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. Joining her on the panel are:
