Two people are dead and seven people hospitalized following a traffic crash that shut down Escanaba’s busy North Lincoln Road (US-2-41) for some four hours on Thanksgiving Night.
It happened just before 5:50 p.m. under the railroad bridge near the KFC restaurant. Multiple police and emergency services crews braved the cold, windy weather conditions to help the victims of the crash.
They’re still trying to determine the cause and the names of those involved have yet been released.
US-2-and-41 re-opened at around 10:00 Thanksgiving night.
