A quick-hitting winter storm is coming for parts of the Upper Peninsula Tuesday.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the Manistique area, as well as over into Mackinac County, starting at noon Tuesday. About eight inches of snow is expected before the warning ends at 8 p.m.
There is a Winter Weather Advisory for Alger, Delta, Luce and northern Schoolcraft Counties for between two and six inches of snow. The heaviest amount on the Seney Stretch and south of Munising, with the lowest amount near Escanaba.
