The number of new coronavirus cases continues to fall in Michigan.
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reported 9,898 new cases on Monday, which covers Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. That’s 33-hundred new cases per day, well down from the numbers reported in January.
There were 38 new COVID deaths reported over those three days.
Here in the Upper Peninsula, there were 312 new cases reported over the three days, with 95 of them in Marquette County, 49 in Delta County, and 34 in Dickinson County. There were two new COVID deaths reported in the U.P.: one each in Dickinson and Marquette Counties.
