The local chapter of the financial services firm Thrivent is partnering with the Caregiver Incentive Project for financial literacy month this April for a local book drive, “Books are Just the Beginning”.
During this week-long event, the Thrivent Member Network East WI Upper MI will donate $2 for every new or gently used book up to $1,000.
Join us at both Northbound Thrivent location, during the week of May 2nd, during business hours (10am-4pm) to help the Caregiver Incentive Project stock their bookshelves and meet our Books are Just the Beginning goal.
Marquette Office: 100 N. Third Street Marquette, MI
Escanaba Office: 1612 Ludington St. Escanaba, MI
We know that literacy can impact an individual’s opportunity for financial security. Join us as we work to impact generations to come achieve financial clarity, enabling them to live with more meaning and gratitude.
Books are Just the Beginning will be held as a in person/drop off event at both locations. New & gently used books for all ages are welcome! The Caregiver Incentive Project will be using the donated books for volunteer work throughout the UP community including assisted living facilities, schools, hospitals, hospice facilities, public libraries and more. Stop into either Thrivent location, during business hours, to donate your books!
The Thrivent Member Network – East WI Upper MI helps support and inspire Thrivent clients with membership in their generosity efforts, providing them with the tools and resources to take action – and create impact. As part of this network, they can join their friends, family and local community to participate in Thrivent’s generosity programs to make a positive difference locally.
