April is M&M Area Community Foundation Sponsorship Month. Established in 2013 it has inspired greater public participation in support of the Foundation’s mission and service reach.
“Throughout the month of April we accept sponsorships and recognize and thank the donors and volunteers who give of their time and resources to ensure the Foundation meets its mission of service to our communities,” said Paula Gruszynski, MMACF Executive Director. “Rarely is there a day I am not reminded that the success of this organization is due to the generosity of our community. Contributors, volunteers, business and industry, all enable us to be an effective and impactful community asset.”
Over the past 28 years the MMACF has expanded its impact beyond grant-making and scholarships to more engagement in leadership needed to sustain the vitality of communities throughout the two-county area. Notable recent examples are the Foundation’s commitment to Harm Reduction and addressing the national opioid crisis, as well as the Future Fund establishing child savings accounts for all kindergarten student across Marinette and Menominee Counties.
Sponsorships range from $500 to $5,000 and provide operational support. Benefits to Sponsors include recognition at Foundation events as well as press announcements and social media acknowledgement. “We encourage business leaders to consider allocating a portion of their philanthropic budget toward MMACF Sponsorship, said Board President Jackie Kamps. “Broad local sponsorship multiplies the Foundation’s resources and networks.”
