There will be a Gun and Knife Show at the Delta Chamber Multi-Use Complex at 1001 No. Lincoln Rd., on Friday and Saturday, May 5 and 6. There will be approximately 25 vendors at the show, encompassing over 65 tables.
The show is co-sponsored by the Delta County Gun Owners Association and the U.P. State Fairgrounds.
Hours of the show are 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. (All times EDT). Admission is $5; kids 12 and under are free with adult.
“This show will feature old and new firearms, long guns and handguns, collectible knives from Marble’s, Bark River Knives, and other custom knife makers, where collectors can buy, sell and trade,” said Dennis Moberg, chairperson of the event planning committee and a member of the Board of Directors of the Webster Marble’s and U.P. Military Museums. “All state and federal firearm regulations will be adhered to.”
Moberg added that there will also be a number of other sporting collectibles available, such as fishing equipment and antique trapping equipment. The museums will also be open for people to tour during the show for free; as always, the museums are always free for the public to go through.
All proceeds from the show will go toward offsetting the utility costs of the Webster Marble’s Inventing the Outdoors Museum and U.P. Military Museum inside the Multi-use Complex. For more information, please contact Dennis Moberg at (906) 789-5474.
