Mother Nature tried her best to put a damper on Wiener Wednesday this week, but Cat Country listeners had other plans!
Despite stormy skies and some challenging travel conditions, we rolled into NEWCare, Inc. in Crivitz ready to fire up the grill—and our listeners showed up in a big way. Thanks to the incredible staff at NEWCare, we served up an impressive 200 hot dogs (100 hotdogs donated by our sponsor WISCO MEATS) and enjoyed an afternoon full of great food, fantastic prizes, and even better company.
One of the highlights of the day was the amazing prize packages put together by the NEWCare team. They went above and beyond to make the event special, and their hospitality was second to none. From the moment we arrived, they made everyone feel welcome and helped create an atmosphere that was fun, friendly, and full of community spirit.
And yes, even a dog came out for some dogs! We had a four-legged visitor stop by to join in the fun, making the afternoon even more memorable.
A huge thank you goes out to Wes, Kit, and Maddie for representing Cat Country and helping make another Wiener Wednesday a success. Most importantly, thank you to everyone who braved the weather and stopped by to spend part of their day with us.
We can’t say enough good things about the staff at NEWCare, Inc. They were outstanding hosts, and we already can’t wait for the opportunity to come back and do it all again.
