The Marquette County Health Department said on Friday that COVID-19 cases are rising in the county, and the Centers For Disease Control now lists the county as a “high risk” area. The classification comes after the county, and most of the Upper Peninsula, had been listed as “low risk”.
Cases in Marquette County have risen by 44% in the past two weeks, according to MCHD.
The designation means that people are encouraged to wear masks in indoor settings, as well as on public transportation. Read all of the details in the press release below:
