Bay College has recently been awarded Gold Level Veteran-Friendly Status for the 23-24 academic year by the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency.
This Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency program recognizes academic institutions committed to supporting the needs of veterans and military-connected students. Gold level is the highest level of recognition that can be achieved by a higher education institution. This demonstrates Bay College’s continued dedication to providing outstanding service to active military students, veteran students, and related family members.
Bay College has earned this status by establishing a number of veteran services, including identifying veterans at application, a veteran-specific website, an on-campus veteran’s coordinator, a system to evaluate and award academic credit for military training and experience, and much more.
