Bay College has announced the quarterly TORCH Award winner. Congratulations to Debra Koski, Bay College’s September – November 2023 TORCH Award recipient. Deb Koski, Admissions Coordinator at Bay College, joined Bay in April of 2021. Deb has been nominated by several colleagues for being dedicated to the mission of Bay College. Here is what they had to say:
“Deb creates a culture of success with her enthusiasm, her smile, and her genuine caring attitude. If someone is having a bad day, she will offer them words of encouragement, if someone has been recognized for something they have done, Deb is the first one to be happy for them and congratulate them.”
“Deb cares about our students, goes above and beyond to help not only our students, but the public as well.”
“Deb jumps in and is willing to help anyone that needs help. Whether it be a visitor to the campus or a student looking for a specific room, Deb is always willing to walk them to the area that they are looking for.”
“Deb has learned how to do new things to help keep the admissions department functioning smoothly”
The purpose of the TORCH Award is to give personal recognition to those employees on Bay College’s campuses dedicated to the mission of the College because of their attitude, commitment, and dedication toward the higher education learning environment. TORCH stands for: Team Player; Outstanding Perfrmance; Responsive to Others; Conscientious to Mission of Bay; Helpful to All.
