The Community Foundation of Marquette County is excited to announce that a new fund has been established in partnership with The Marquette Beautification & Restoration Committee.
The Marquette Beautification & Restoration Committee, Inc. (MBRC) is best known for its “Petunia Pandemonium” project each year when over 23,000 flowers are planted that welcome visitors to the Marquette area. This nonprofit volunteer organization has taken great pride in keeping the city of Marquette looking beautiful through breathtaking flower displays and its restoration projects since the group was established in 1978.
“For us, this is a very exciting time for the committee”, states Barb Kelly, Vice President of MBRC, “to know that this work that is a labor of love for so many of us will be supported in the long-term is a milestone for us. So much greater than just the sum of the parts.”
According to Zosia Eppensteiner, CEO of the CFMC, “We are grateful to partner with MBRC to provide an avenue of giving to the donor who wishes to support the passion of this organization and its community service for many years to come.”
