A woman was hurt when she crashed her car into the back of a West Iron County school bus Monday morning. The Iron County Sheriff says the crash happened on US-2 near Sunset Lake Road at about 7:00 in the morning.
The 27-year-old woman was treated for her injuries at the Aspirus Hospital. The bus driver and student aboard the bus were not hurt, accoring to the school superintendent.
STATEMENT FROM WEST IRON COUNTY SCHOOLS:
This morning, one of our buses was rear-ended by another vehicle with one student on the bus. We are grateful to report that both the student and bus driver are physically OK. Understandably, both were shaken by the incident.
Please know that the safety of our students and staff remains our highest priority, and we appreciate the care and support shown to those involved this morning. A special thank you to our law enforcement and first responders for their quick actions.
