The Breitung Township School’s sinking fund millage proposal got the overwhelming heads up by district voters on Tuesday. The 0.89 mill renewal to continue fixing up school facilities passed with 3,285 yes votes, with 1,641 people voting no. This was not a tax increase, but a renewal of what voters approved back in 2017. Now, the levy will continue through 2037.
