DELTA COUNTY: Stupak Wins Judgeship; Bay College Board Members

Delta County voters on Tuesday decided a new man on the district court bench.

Trent Stupak will be on the bench after defeating Eric Hayse, 65% of the vote to 35% in the 94^th district court race.

Also in Delta County, three people have been elected to the Bay College Board of Trustees.

There were four people on the ballot, and three of them won spots on the board. The unofficial results showed Cory Kutchenberg with 8,869 votes. Nick Chenier was second with 8,829 votes. And Katherine VanEnkevort got the third seat with 6,372 votes.

There were also c0ntested school board elections in both Escanaba and Gladstone, and the Escanaba Area Public Schools operating millage renewal was approved.
