The Marquette County Health Department says the West Nile Virus has been found in two hawks in the county. Officials say that’s an indication that mosquitos in the county and elsewhere in the U-P are carrying the virus. Symptoms of the disease include fever, body aches and sometimes a skin rash of swollen glands. In some cases, the disease causes brain damage or even death.
