The Downtown Marquette Farmers Market (DMFM) is thrilled to announce its transition indoors at the Marquette Commons, commencing this Saturday, November 4. This shift provides an exceptional opportunity for patrons to continue supporting local vendors and shopping for fresh, high-quality products through December 16.
The market’s operating hours will feature slight adjustments to accommodate the seasonal shift. During the month of November, shoppers can visit on Saturdays from 9 AM to 1 PM, with the exception of Saturday, November 25 when the market will be closed. In the spirit of the holiday season, DMFM is delighted to welcome back the Holiday Market in December, offering extended hours on Saturdays from 10 AM to 2 PM, culminating in our season finale on December 16.
Customers can look forward to stocking up on a wide array of market must-haves, including delectable offerings from Moonlight Meadows, renowned for their baked goods and hot sauces. Bergy Bread will be on hand, providing freshly baked bread and bagels to satisfy every palate. For those seeking exquisite holiday wreaths and centerpieces, Jeff Heidtman’s signature creations will be a standout feature. Furthermore, UP Gourmet will offer a fresh selection of mushrooms, among other treasures.
Each week, special guests will grace the market with unique finds, from captivating artwork to heartfelt greeting cards courtesy of Chloe Creations, to the enchanting “fresh caught poetry” from Typewritery. Organic tea enthusiasts will find satisfaction at the Young Mountain Tea booth. As the holiday season unfolds, shoppers can also anticipate a diverse range of offerings, including Thanksgiving turkeys, holiday trees, and much more.
Stay tuned for the exciting Thanksgiving and Holiday Exclusives, as well as pre-order options, which will be unveiled in the coming weeks by our dedicated market vendors. To stay up-to-date with these developments, we encourage everyone to follow the market on social media and subscribe to its newsletter for the latest information.
