On 03/28/24 at approximately 1504 hours, Marquette County Sheriffs Office responded to a report missing person in the area of County Road 545 in Skandia.
It was reported that an elderly male with Alzheimer’s had left the residence and had not returned for over two hours. Marquette County Sheriffs Office along with Marquette County Search and Rescue, MSP, and DNR responded to the area to locate the missing person. Neighbors heard yelling in the area and located the missing person about 400 yards from their residence.
With the help of the concerned neighbors, and responding agencies, the missing person was returned to his spouse without incident.
