The Delta County Clerk posted the local and statewide election results late Tuesday night.
Republican candidates won all of the statewide races in Delta County.
Locally, it was a somewhat quiet ballot in Delta County.
Republican Lauren Wickstrom was easily elected as the county prosecutor by a 2-to-1 margin over Diane Kay-Hougaboom. There were a number of school board elections on the ballot, as well, including Escanaba, where three people were running for the four-year terms and one person for the unexpired term. The Delta Area Transit Authority had renewal proposals on the ballot in Escanaba Township and in Bay deNoc Township. Both passed.

This article confused me. I did NOT see anything on last night’s ballot for a DATA Proposal. I don’t even remember there being a School Board election. I turned the ballot over. It had the 3 proposals.
