The Catherine Bonifas Civic Center received a donation from Immanuel Lutheran Church for the After School Program. Funds will be used to provide a healthy snack, hygiene items and school supplies to students in 4th to 12th grades throughout Delta County.
The Catherine Bonifas Civic Center facility is a safe, supervised environment with staff on site. The facility has a full game room and gym. The facility hosts activities such as basketball, board games, free books, gym use, free wi-fi, laptop use, volleyball, pickleball, aerobics, gameroom as well as housing the Community Action Agency Senior Center which offers a large variety of activities and events throughout the day as well.
The Escanaba Recreation Department appreciates all the support the community gives to the After School Program and especially want to thank Immanuel Lutheran Church.
