The Escanaba Department of Public Works is going to all automated recycling including commercial. Beginning this week on Wednesday January 18, 2023, recycling will remain the same as normally scheduled. Please make sure the cans are 3 feet apart and at least 2 feet from any objects (buildings, vehicles, trees, poles, fences, and etc.)
All recyclables must be in a recycling container, or they will not be able to get picked up. If you need another cart contact Public Works. Recycle cans with garbage in them will not be recycled, food boxes such as pizza boxes are not recyclable.
Place cardboard, paper, plastic, and metal together in your recycling cart or bring them to the Delta County Landfill.
NO GLASS
All Plastics are acceptable.
All Cardboard is acceptable.
RECYCLE ITEMS SHOULD BE CLEAN.

Monday or Tuesday—1st & 3rd Wednesday of the Month
Thursday or Friday—2nd & 4th Wednesday of the Month
Collection is not every other week; some months have 5 Wednesdays. Commercial recycle collection is every Wednesday.
