Gwinn Area Community Schools announces that Board of Education Vice President, Dawn Andrews, and Trustee, Mary Jo Paris-Johns, have resigned from their respective positions effective February 28, 2023. The Board now has thirty (30) days to fill these vacancies. Appointees to the open seats will serve on the Board until December 31, 2024.
Those interested in filling the vacant seats should submit a letter of interest to Brandon Bruce, Superintendent, via US mail (50 West M-35, PO Box 447, Gwinn, MI 49841) or via email (brandon.bruce@gwinnschools.org).
The deadline for letters of interest will be 4:00 pm on Friday, March 17, 2023. Candidate interviews will be held on Monday, March 20, 2023.
