Northeast winds gusting as high as 50 mph will cause low visibities in the blowing and drifting snow. Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches. Gusty winds, in combination with wet, heavy snow, may lead to downed tree limbs and power outaages. If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
