Effective Monday, March 7, 2022, OSF HealthCare St. Francis Hospital & Medical Group will close its COVID-19 drive-thru testing center. In addition, the local COVID-19 triage phone line will no longer be active.
These changes are the result of a dramatic decrease in volume over the past few weeks.
For those in need of a COVID-19 test, options include, using an at-home test, a local retail pharmacy or contacting your primary care provider’s office.
If you are experiencing mild to moderate symptoms of COVID-19 and would like to be evaluated, please go to the Walk-in Clinic. If you are having moderate to severe COVID-19 symptoms, please go to the nearest Emergency Department.
At this time, in accordance with federal guidelines, masks are still required in health care settings regardless of vaccination status. In addition, visitation limits remain in effect, however, in-person support is permitted. Those providing in-person support are asked to adhere to the following guidelines:
- Submit to a COVID-19 screening and wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status.
- Wear appropriate PPE, perform hand hygiene and maintain safety precautions during their visit.
- Be 18 years of age or older.
